Fantastic Beasts: Crimes of Grindelwald is actually fantastic
See what I did there? This second installment in the Fantastic Beasts saga is a must watch for all Harry Potter fans
This Thanksgiving, my family and I (all 12 cousins and I) indulged ourselves in a movie at the theaters after festivities quieted down. As a family of Harry Potter fans we were all enticed by the new movie from J.K. Rowling, so it was a no brainer that we would go and see Fantastic Beasts: The Crimes of Grindelwald. We were not disappointed. Filled with little eggs from the seven Harry Potter films that come before it, there was a palpable excitement as the movie carried out. Unlike the first Fantastic Beasts film, which centers on main character and magical zoologist, Newt Scamander and his life with all his beasts, this second film is action packed. Much like in the Harry Potter movies, this film contains wizard fight scenes that keep you on the edge of your seat, eager for whats to come. A drastically better plot than the first film, and it keeps you wanting more as soon as the movie ends. Since Thanksgiving, I have now rewatched four out of seven Harry Potter movies, excited and ready for whats next (and will probably reread the books when I get sick of waiting around).
